I Pooped on the Potty and Got a Pony!!!

Bryer did it! She pooped on the potty like a big girl. She's been peeing on the potty for a while now and finally took the plung. When Deacon did it for the first time Brodie took him to Walmart to pick out a toy of his choice. Deacon wanted a remote controled Monster Truck Jeep. With that the bar was set high. So off to Walmart Bryer and I went! I found a great pony on the clearance rack right off and put it in the basket. If she didn't want it for her potty present it was going to be for Christmas. Too good of a deal to pass up. Then we looked at Tinkerbell, Barbies, Babies, Books, Little Einstein, Stuffed animals which are waaaaaaay over priced. The poor girl had not clue what was going on. So I talked her into a pony! It is the Little Tykes get up an go pony that they sit on and ride. Deacon of course loved her choice. Now it is a daily battle of who is going to ride. Oh well. As long as they have fun in the end.

Monster Truck Show

We took a family trip to the moster truck show in Dallas. Brodie's friend Cory even braved the trip with 3 children. It is always risky to throw someone into our madness when they have no children. A good time was had by all. I got a free tshirt (only reason I went!) and Brodie got to look at man stuff. Deacon and Ryder hung out in the stroller most of the time. Bryer was the go getter of the day. She tried all the door handles and wanted to sit in all the trucks. Then she got mad when we wouldn't allow her to sit in a truck and hit the side knocking bolts out of the door. She is our little beast.

Day with Blaine

Blaine came over on Friday for a day of fun. They all decided to get dressed in PJs and pretend they were going to go to sleep. Of course that didn't happen but I got some cute pictures of them together. Later we turned on the house and let them loose. Give a kid a hose and they will be entertained for at least an hour. Granted your entire yard will be soaked but it well worth the peace and quiet! That was Brodie at the end of the day. He was "working" from home.

Our Precious 3

Just some pictures of the 3 of them!

Ryder's big blog

Yes it is true! 2 blogs in one night. Just trying to catch up. I thought Ryder should have his own highlight since everyone says there are not as many pictures taken of him as the others.
Ryder is now 2 months old and 10 pounds. He is our fastest and largest so far. He is such a good baby. I could not ask for better. So sweet and calm. He falls alseep on his own and sleeps 5+ hours at night. He just sits and watches. Probably wondering what he has been born into. I don't blame him! Deacon and Bryer LOVE him. Deacon is always wanting to hold him and kiss him. It took Bryer a few weeks to warm up to him. Now she says "I want to hold it". I can't get her to say him. He is just an it right now. Then she kisses and slobbers all over him. We all love him so much. I don't think I could do 3 if he was not such a good baby.

Update on Baby Ryder

So Ryder is now 2 months old but I'm going to act like he isn't here yet and show you the events leading up to his birth. I slacked a little bit on my blog and have some catching up to do.

I'll start from the time we found out we were pregnant.....
We put money down on a Darling house off of 380 but backed out of the deal 2 months later b/c they screwed us around on the fence and got cold feet about backing up to 380
Then we went on the house hunt and found an AWESOME house for not much more in the neighborhood across from where we started building. We love it.
We moved to our new house a week before Christmas and got an offer on our old house the day we closed on our new one.
We closed on our old house the middle of January.
Since being here I have painted Deacon's room to look like superman, Ryder's room like dump trucks, and the boy's bathroom in Dr Suesse. I have yet to do Bryer's and the playroom but that is yet to come.
Deacon turned 3 in January and Bryer turned 2 in February and we had a joint bday party
I had a 3D ultrasound and maternity pictures taken 2 weeks before Ryder arrived
Then Ryder came in March
See I didn't need to bother everyone with numerous posts! Now everyone is up to speed. Brodie has volunteered to help keep up with this since I am not very good at it.
